It is not necessary to be at home to receive your order (unless you have ordered alcohol). We provide you the option of specifying where you would like your goods to be left/delivered if you are not home. For example this could be in a shed or at the side/back of your house. When providing us your delivery details, there will be a 'Delivery Instructions' section. If there is a chance you may not be at the delivery address to receive your order please provide instructions such as:

  • 'Enter side gate and leave order around the back
  • Leave on right side of house in the shade hidden from road
  • Leave in front porch behind wall.

Goods may also be delivered to another address, for example to your office. In the situation where alcohol is ordered, somebody of 18 years old or over must be home to accept delivery.

How does my shopping remain cool if I am not home?

Our packaging systems ensure that all perishable products remain cool in high temperatures for over 5 hours. All items that require refrigeration are packaged in polystyrene cartons with ice packs to ensure your perishable food remains crisp and fresh. Although there is no charge for the boxes, we have set up a Polystyrene Exchange System (PES) where a $4.00 fee will be applied on your next order if boxes haven't been returned. You will be required to leave the cartons together with the ice packs outside for our drivers to collect when they deliver your next order. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

When proceeding through checkout, you may advise that you would like your shopping to be unpacked at the time of delivery and the packaging taken away. Simply tick this box after selecting your delivery time when making your way through the checkout.

Bananablue.com.au provides the freshest food delivered to your door. We buy all our produce on the morning of delivery direct from the Adelaide Produce Markets. We start our buying in the very early hours of the morning to ensure we get the pick of the crop. Our bakery department bake fresh to order on the morning of your delivery. Our butcher also cuts your meat every morning ready for our packers to send to you. Our purchases are made up of only what is needed for the day ensuring that all stock is the freshest possible when delivered to your door.

We are fresher because we have cut down the traditional handling and distribution process supermarkets and greengrocers operate by. Traditionally with fruit and vegetables, retailers would go to the Adelaide Produce Markets and buy stock based on estimates of what they believe they can sell, then the stock is sitting around the store for days on end, sometimes over a week, being picked, poked, squeezed and re-shelved every day.

Our aim is to provide quality and freshness impossible to beat.

bananablue strives to achieve the highest standards of quality and service. If for any reason you are unhappy with any item in your order, please contact us on 1300 304 348 or contact us.

You can either email us on customerservice@bananablue.com.au or enter the item you are looking for in the “products Not Found” area once you have entered the checkout. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated and we will endeavour to respond to all requests.
