This area is for the shopper using our website for the first time. Follow the easy steps below to quickly begin shopping:

We have three options available for you to find a particular product: Browse, Search or Favourites

  • Browse
    Simply navigate through the product departments displayed on the left of the screen. For example to find a cabbage, you would click on 'Fruit + Veg' and then Vegetables. Then you simply scroll down the page to view the products available.
  • Search
    The search function is available at the top of the middle screen. This allows you to find a particular product quickly. For example if you require Nescafe Coffee, type this in and press search. The search function will display all products that have both 'Nescafe' and 'Coffee', then all products that have either 'Nescafe' or 'Coffee'.
  • Favourites
    You probably purchase several products each time you shop. You can save time by adding products to your "favourites" by pressing the Add To Favourites List button to the right of the product. In order to use this feature you must become a registered bananablue.com.au member. Then next time you shop press Quick Shop at the bottom of the product departments, and then Favourites to see all your frequently purchased items. To delete products from your favourites click on the bin next to the unwanted item.
  • Repurchase credits
    When you log in, items credited on your last order appear in red at the top of your trolley (to the right of your screen). Just click on the next to the item you wish to re-order and it will appear in your trolley.

Compare products
If you want to compare pricing, package sizing or any other detail for the products you are interested in, tick the box under “Compare” to the left hand side of the products you want to review. Then click on and the list will reduce to those items that you want to look at.


Adding products to your trolley is easy and can be done without using the keyboard. Next to each product listed you will see .
  • Option 1
    Adjust the quantity box using and or by clicking in the quantity box and using the keyboard. Once the required quantity is in the box press .
  • Option 2
    Press the button until the required quantity is in your trolley. You may need to wait 1-2 seconds between each click to allow the Trolley to update. For example if you require 6 apples, press 6 times, waiting each time for this function to refresh.

Your Trolley
Displays all the products you have chosen together with the sub total. One of the benefits of shopping though bananablue.com.au is that you know the total of your trolley before you go to the checkout. It also shows how much the specials have saved you.

Editing Your Trolley
To edit how much of a product you purchase, click in the quantity box displayed in your trolley and adjust the number. If you wish to delete an item altogether, enter the number "0". Once you have made the changes press .

Printing your Trolley
To print your order before it is finalised, simply by clicking on the in the trolley section .

Forgotten Something?

If you have forgotten something after finalizing your order, don’t panic! Just log back in to your account and click on “Add to Current Order”. A minimum order of $10 is required, but no additional delivery fee will be charged and the products will be delivered with your original order on your preferred day. (Note that you can only “Add to Order” once due to administrative costs.)


Once you have all the required products in your trolley, press . At this stage, if you have not registered or logged in you will prompted to do so.

Logging In
New customers will be asked to complete a simple registration form. Existing Customers are required to enter the email address and password they registered with. Please note that passwords are case sensitive.

Selecting Delivery and Payment Options
Your delivery address is displayed at the top of the page. If you need your delivery sent to a different address adjust the details here. Select one of the delivery days and periods offered to your area. You are able to order up to 6 days in advance. Select your payment option. (Refer below for further details)


A page will then be displayed with all the items you have purchased together with your delivery and payment details. When you are happy with your order and all the options selected, press . You will then be required to process your payment. Bananablue.com.au have provided several payment options for your convenience. Although we are an online shopping business, this doesn't necessarily mean you need to pay through our online credit card payment system.

  • Secure On-line Credit Card Transactions
    We have a vested interest in providing our consumers a very safe method for online credit card transactions. We use a real-time secure transaction process with 128-bit encryption providing you with the safest possible system currently available.

    The only people that will ever know your credit card details are you and the bank. We currently accept credit card payments from VISA and MasterCard. Further information regarding online security is available on our security page.

  • BPAY-Phone/Internet Banking
    For those who wish to pay from a savings or cheque account, we offer BPAY. This allows you to pay directly from your account to bananablue.com.au using the Phone or Internet Banking. BPAY also accepts payments from credit card accounts. All BPAY payments must be made at the time the order is placed. We recommend you record the confirmation number provided by your financial institution upon your successful payment. The information you require to make a BPAY payment is our Biller Code [45948] and Your Ref [This number is unique to each customer]. These details will be displayed on the screen after selecting this option and will also be emailed to you.

  • Direct Debit
    This is the easiest way to process your payment and is available to approved customers. Simply place your order and we will organise to debit the required amount from your account. In order to register for Direct Debit please download the Direct Debit Request Form, fill it in and fax or post it back to us.

  • EFT Transfer
    Alternative payment options may be available to approved customers. For more information, please contact us
