How are my credit card details handled?
Bananablue.com.au does not personally handle your credit card details. We utilise a secure system that ensures your credit card details remain confidential. The only people that will know your credit card details are you and the bank. Our Real-Time Credit Card processing system is handled by the National Australia Bank. What information does bananablue.com.au gather?
When first becoming a member with bananablue.com.au, we require information relating to your contact details, delivery details and age (if you wish to purchase alcohol). Your details will not be shared with any third party without your consent.

Why do we collect your personal information
Your details are collected to help us fulfill your order. For any future orders you place, we store your personal information on a secure server requiring you to enter your password only.

Bananablue.com.au, may use your details to advise of new products, market news or specials. You can request to be removed from this list by emailing customerservice@bananablue.com.au.

How do we use your personal information
Bananablue.com.au may use your personal information in order to customise and personalise your shopping experience. We may send emails containing specials, newsletters, special offers, invoices, promotional material, surveys and other updates. We may also use your mobile phone number to send an SMS advising of special offers. We may, at times, produce reports for advertisers containing aggregate information about our users such as demographic, age and online usage information. This allows us to work more closely with advertisers to provide content and offers that are most relevant to our users. We will never include any personal information in these reports.

We reserve the right to use or disclose any information without notice or consent as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request; to conduct investigations of consumer complaints or possible breaches of law; to protect the integrity of our site and our property; to protect the safety of our visitors or others; to fulfill your requests; or to cooperate in any legal investigation.

Returns and Credits
To make a claim for an incorrectly supplied item, unsatisfactory substitution or a quality issue, please call bananablue customer service on 1300 304 348, or email customerservice@bananablue.com.au within 2 working days of delivery.

bananablue guarantees the highest standards of quality on fresh foods : an immediate credit will normally be applied when a quality issue is reported.

Credits for non perishable items will be applied to your bananablue account once the product has been returned and a credit approved.

Credits:
Credits applied to your bananablue account will be deducted from the total of your next order.

bananablue credits will be valid for use one year from the date of issue. To check the expiry or balance of your credits call customer service on 1300 304 348

Delivery to a minor
Please be aware that it is bananablue.com.au policy not to enter a home unless an adult is present. In the case of minors only being home, the delivery will be left at the front door.

Use of cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. Cookies assist us in tracking which of our features you like best. The bananablue.com.au website is viewable if you disable the cookie function on your browser, however some advanced and customised features of our site will not be available to you.

We will occasionally update our Privacy Policy in order to ensure the highest level of protection for our users and to comply with legislation. We will not change the use of previously collected personal information unless legally required to do so.

Substitutions
Sometimes products you have ordered are unavailable that day. We do our best to provide a suitable substitution but if you are not satisfied with any substitute provided, we simply credit your account upon return.


If you don’t want us to substitute any particular item , indicate this in your checkout trolley as you check your order. If you never want us to attempt a substitute , even staple items , then please phone or email customer service so we can make a note on your picking slip.

Cancellation policy
Please not that orders are confirmed once they pass through checkout. Orders cancelled after the checkout process may incur a cancellation fee, of at least $30. A higher fee may be charged, depending on the level of costs incurred by banananlue.com.au

Disclaimer


Bananablue reserves the right not to supply a product listed in the online catalogue due to pricing or availability issues. In this situation, a substitute of greater value will be provided where available. If a product of greater value is not available, a substitute of lesser value may be provided and the customer account credited with the difference between it and the product ordered. If no substitute is available, or if the customer has elected not to receive substitutes, a credit will be applied to the customer’s account.
